Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before using SnapCents (“the App”), developed by Alt Company (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By downloading, installing, or using SnapCents, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Use of the App

SnapCents is a personal finance and expense tracking tool for iOS. You may use the App for lawful personal or business expense tracking purposes. You agree not to:

SnapCents does not require an account. All data is stored locally on your device. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any data stored within the App.

We do not have access to your data and cannot recover it if lost. We recommend enabling device backups through iCloud or iTunes.

3. SnapCents Pro

SnapCents offers a premium upgrade (“SnapCents Pro”) that unlocks features including iCloud Sync, PDF export, widgets, Siri shortcuts, and expanded limits for budgets, categories, and AI chat. SnapCents Pro is available through the following purchase options:

Auto-Renewal Terms

Monthly and yearly subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the subscription price.

Free Trial

The yearly subscription plan includes a 7-day free trial. During this period, all Pro features are available at no cost. After 7 days, your subscription begins and you are charged automatically unless you cancel before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited if you purchase a different subscription before the trial ends.

Cancellation and Management

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.

Payment Processor

All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. SnapCents does not collect, store, or have access to your payment information.

Refunds

SnapCents does not offer refunds directly. All refund requests are handled by Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com.

4. Accuracy Disclaimer

SnapCents uses optical character recognition (OCR) and on-device AI to parse receipts and bank statements. While we strive for accuracy:

SnapCents, including its design, code, icons, and content, is the intellectual property of Alt Company. All rights are reserved. The App is licensed to you, not sold.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
